The terms that apply when you use gearinfotech.com.

Effective date: September 24, 2026

These terms apply to your use of gearinfotech.com. Client projects are governed by a separate written agreement or statement of work. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.

Using the website

You may use this site for lawful purposes. Don’t try to break, overload, or get unauthorized access to it.

Content

The text, design, and graphics on this site belong to Gear InfoTech or its licensors. You may not copy them for commercial use without permission.

Client accounts and subscriptions

• If you have a client account, keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account.
• Subscription plans renew automatically each billing period until canceled.
• Setup fees cover initial work and are non-refundable once work begins.
• Cancellation: Either party may cancel a monthly plan with 30 days’ written notice. Service continues through the end of the paid period.
• Late payment: We may pause services if payment is more than 15 days overdue.
• Your written agreement or statement of work sets the scope and timeline for each project.

Ownership of work

By default, Gear InfoTech owns the software it builds and grants the client a license to use it. If a client cancels their plan, they may keep using the software they paid for. Hosting, support, and updates end with the plan. If a client asks for ownership, we assign the custom code and content to them once the project is paid in full. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools and libraries and grant the client a license to use them. Client data always belongs to the client.

No warranty

The website is provided “as is.” We try to keep the information accurate but don’t guarantee it’s complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Gear InfoTech is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using this website. Our total liability for any claim related to the website is limited to $100.

Third-party links

Links to other sites are for convenience. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Governing law

These terms are governed by California law. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept them.
